>Before the sun rose.
>In a cave lost to time, a rock was disturbed.
>Arrogant among its kind, the rock scoffed at the cause of its disturbance, a young girl, seeking shelter from the cold of winter.
{“Leave.”}
>The rock thought, unable to vocalise its thoughts.
>The girl, however, continued on in, approaching the rock, for it was a source of great heat.
{“Hmph, of course, she recognises my greatness and wishes to bask in my glow. Then i shall allow it.”}
>Still unaware of the rock’s thoughts, the girl huddled below it, hoping to use its warmth to survive the night. . .

>>1>The next day, the rock was gone, and in its place a dragon stood.
>The girl smiled at the new creature, somehow sensing it meant her no harm.“Hello, I’m ■■■, what’s your name.”
>The dragon thought for a moment, circling around the girl’s hand before perching on it, its brilliant crimson scales shimmering in the sunlight of dawn.
>It was then the dragon realised that it had no name to call itself, it had been a rock only the night before, after all.“Then, why don’t call you. . . Hiryū.”
>The dragon thought for a moment then did another loop around the girl’s hand, somehow, the name felt right.Post too long. Click here to view the full text. No.3
>>2>One time, the girl rescued an injured bird from the forest floor, confusing the dragon.“Why bother helping a creature with such a life span? It will only live a few years at most anyway.”
“True, but at least, this way, this one will survive the winter. . .”
“What does it matter, it’ll be dead soon anyway.”
“Did you think that when I came into your cave, Hiryū?”
“Hmph.”
>The girl chuckled to herself, knowing the dragon’s foolishness.Post too long. Click here to view the full text. No.4
>>3>In time, the girl grew, and the dragon too, and so the girl found allies who would, in time, become friends.
>To restore order through slaughter, they swore, to bring peace to the land through battle.
>And so together they marched forth.
>Dragon, Wolf, Owl, Fox, and Spider.
>The Dragon was strong and overwhelming, empowered by his bond with the girl.
>The Wolf caring and wise, capable of helping out all those who fought besides her.
>The Owl, ever cunning, knew how to deliver swift, powerful strikes from the shadows.

>>4>Peace cannot be eternal, however, and soon the time came for the oath to be broken.
>First, the Spider trapped the children of the Wolf, and so died by her jaws, it’s venom digging deep within her.
>Then, enraged by her loss, driven mad by poison, the Wolf declared herself the enemy of all who crossed her, vowing to remove the mark of humanity from the world.
>This, in turn, forced the girl and the Owl to act, striking down the Wolf in a great battle that left the girl dead, and the Owl forever marked.
>And so, for one final time, the Owl and the Dragon spoke.“And what will you do, little owl, now that the last of your old kin is gone?”
>The Owl sighed, looking out over the valley below.Post too long. Click here to view the full text. No.6
>>5>After the second epoch began. . .
>In a cave unrecorded by man, the dragon was disturbed.
>A young girl stood before it, her features hidden by the dusk and icy wind. “Are you her?”
>The dragon looked over the girl, sighing:“Not her, you smell of the owl. . .”
“W-who?”
