>>1308>Location: The Axiom - Nexus of Magic>Time: Indeterminate
>The pocket dimension of Thaumia rests in a large spherical orb - sitting on a table. Inside of the living quarters of the Axiom, Mosaic crosses his arms as he stares at the orb intently.{"…..An entire ancient civilization."}
>Looking up at Doctor, Mosaic then says:"What changed your mind? Since you originally wanted Sun to handle this."
>Doctor looks at the orb himself as he states:"Perspective. I realized that pretending that I was above these matters didn't do anything to help resolve them."
>The Sorcerer Supreme continues staring at the orb as he states:"My promise to defend the Axiom and the Crystal from all threats, doesn't necessarily mean that I can't protect the Earth as well."
>Looking at Crepido, Doctor then concludes by saying:"Magister taught me that - when he finally intervened, and not on his own Earth at that."
>Mosaic then looks back up at Doctor, examining the figure for a moment. He then says:"…..Thanks, Isaac. For everything. Also tell my counterpart that I said thank you as well."
>Walking forward, Doctor moves to give Mosaic a hug, patting him on the back as he states:"Don't mention it! Like my wife said, you're basically my first real friend in a long, long time. As sad as that sounds on my part."
>Mosaic quickly shakes his head as he says:"No, I don't think it's sad. It's understandable given what you've been through. I'm just glad I was able to help in that way."
>Doctor then moves back from Mosaic, now examining the armored and robed superhero."You've really evolved. The change is physical, obviously. But there's also a mental maturity, or temperamental rather."
>Mosaic then examines his robed armor once more, taking a note of the ornate inscriptions and arcane symbols across it. "At times I ask myself what I deserved to be this lucky. So I'll make sure that I put this power to good use."
>Remembering the past, he then looks up at Doctor and Crepido again, genuine determination behind his mask and in his eyes as he speaks:"I will
never let myself be dragged down ever again."
