>A version of Sanctuary City exists, contained in a world separate to the known universe. Virtually identical on a macroscopic scale, this world still contains a few notable differences. Arbitrarily designated "Earth-1", in comparison to the known universe, this world is seemingly more extravagant in scope. More powerful Meta-Humans exist, a more volatile, yet orderly world all the same. In this universe, carefully bordering with the known universe - a massive spatial-temporal event begins to coalesce around the universal space….

>Date: March 3rd, 2017

>Location: Earth-1 - Sanctuary City
>Time - 10:00 AM

>The pristine mega structure of a city stands, serving as a monument towards Meta-Human advancement in the larger country and world. Situated in the same place as its known counterpart, Earth-1's version of Sanctuary City is massive, sprawling with far more advanced structures and technological integrations. Futuristic machines and devices are stretched out far across the normal city scape, with teleporting rail stations and levitating buildings making up the core structural components.

>As people walk their pets, check their holographic projections from their phones, and remotely talk to each other through radio wave interfaces in their ears - warning notifications begin to appear across the city. Large red holographic text signs appear, surrounding multiple areas of the outstretched city, each with glowing hazard signs. The holograms read:

["WARNING. SUBSPATIAL ANOMALY DETECTED. SAFETY PROTOCOLS ENGAGED"]

>Just then, large glowing fissures begin to appear across the sky - ripping open with violent force to reveal large surges of glowing energy passing through. Appearing within the barrier field of the city, the large fissures continue seeping open glowing pools of supernatural energy - which rapidly coalesce and turn into the shape of large stone golems. As the mineral constructions crash into the ground, they generate a significant amount of force - beginning to rupture the city. The monsters shatter through fractal energy bridges and platforms, causing the hard light projections to fall to the ground below.

>As the golems begin attacking machinery nearby, the resulting damage begins to cause massive explosions - damaging nearby integrated power lines in the city's streets and propagating a chain of damage across the city's downtown area.

>Time: 10:01 AM

>Within a minute, a distorted blur rushes through a series of Golems, shattering them without any discernible effort. As the distorted blur continues ripping through the golems at light speed - more of the rock-built monsters begin converging rapidly on his location. A veritable mountain of rock monsters begins sliding down the holographic light constructs - now damaged and functioning as makeshift slides - towards the large structures below.

>The blur then comes to a halt, standing in place as their form becomes more visible. Slowly standing upright, the figure's full design is revealed. Wavy brown hair reacts to wind currents, as the figure's red scarf-like technological harness hands behind their back. Wearing a form-fitting silver colored costume, the figure slowly turns around - his blue eyes rapidly scanning the scene.

"….Fifty of you. Nearly a hundred."

>A large rock golem, at least 20 feet tall, then begins barreling towards the figure. Rushing towards him, the golem sends shockwaves of force emanating outwards with each stomp of its massive foot. The strength of the shockwaves sends various cars, semi trucks and hovercraft flying backwards. The figure waits patiently for the golem to reach their position - winding back a large rocky arm to prepare a punch….

>A loud and sharp cracking sound blasts through the structural bridge - as the rock golem's arm is severed. The silver clad figure has their arm outstretched - hand closed into a fist as smoke billows from the air in front of them.

>The force of the figure's punch goes past the rock golem and rips through various portions of the golems behind them - stretching out dozens of meters behind it.

>At the same time, a series of large hovercraft vehicles appears on the scene - hovering at different elevations. The armored troops commandeering the hovercraft are the city's MRD. Similar, yet different to their counterparts, a universe away.

"Touch down on the anchoring pad nearby. We're going to have to block the streets near the edge of the nanofabricator warehouses."

>As a MRD trooper jumps out of the helicopter, they land around the bridge construct's debris field. Taking out their large rifle based weapons, they begin applying suppression fire to the remaining golems. The force of their high pressure rounds quickly begins rupturing the golems, shattering their core body structures. As the golems fall to the ground, a large, 7 foot tall figure in futuristic green power armor takes notice of the silver figure.

"….Everyone, maintain pressure on the unknown entities. Press them back towards the edge of the streets, just like we planned."

>The remainder of the MRD troopers nod at what is seemingly their commanding officer, as said officer begins slowly walking towards the silver figure. Despite being a full foot taller, the green armored figure is hesitant to approach the silver figure - who stands around six feet tall in height by comparison.

"….Arcturus."

>Seemingly caught unaware of the green figure walking towards them, Arcturus finally notices and stands upright, still checking their wrist.

"Sentinel. What can I do for you?"

>Scowling behind his helmet and visor, Sentinel then says:

"We don't appreciate loose canons making a bigger mess of things when situations crop up."

>Arcturus then slowly moves his hand around, holding holding onto his wrist with his other hand. Not looking at the powered MRD officer, he then states:

"I don't remember ever asking you if my conduct was 'standard operating procedure' or not."

>Then looking up at Sentinel, Arcturus says:

"Because I'm not bound by protocols or procedures. Might be why I do such a better job of actually handling situations, now isn't it?"

>Instinctively annoyed, Sentinel raises up a hand in a fist - leaning forward to Arcturus, who himself looks unfazed.

"If you're doing to bad mouth my troopers? Then you better watch you step. I'm still under orders to bring in any vigilantes, especially the smug ones."

>Arcturus brushes Sentinel's hand to the side as he walks past him, stating:

"If that actually mattered, I'd be behind bars in an energy cell. Not wasting my time with thi-"

>Arcturus's eyes then flash with a blue light, as he stops speaking. Immediately recognizing the context, Sentinel then says:

"What is it? What are your powers detecting?"

>The blue light of Arcturus's eyes begins to flash rapidly, as complex blue symbols appear as a projection in front of him. The symbols begin cycling rapidly in a circle as they oscillate between two different end points of the projection.

"Give me a moment….It's obviously something extra-dimensional; foreign to our reality as well."

>Performing a double take, Sentinel says:

"You mean it's not from our world?"

>Arcturus then looks behind his back at the MRD officer and says:

"As I just stated, yes. No need to act surprised. Though I'd say this is far beyond your pay grade."

>As if on cue, the energy based fissure above begins to worsen, growing larger in size and scope as more glowing energy begins pouring out of it. As the glowing energy crashes into the ground below, it begins to rapidly form into more supernatural creatures and monsters - which begin rushing towards the various defensive forces in the city.

>Numerous figures in MRD power armor begin engaging with the figures - using a variety of Meta-Human abilities to combat them. Energy projection blasts, superhuman strength and speed, along with more esoteric powers like energy shifting are used.

>Looking back at the fissure, Arcturus then says:

"I've already done a psychic scan of the fissure. It's not a normal space-time event. Not even a distortion. There's not much I can do about it."

>Sentinel then scowls again behind his helmet, beginning to make wireless comm calls to various MRD troopers as he states:

"Then we can do fuck all about this. How are we going to stop it?"

>Arcturus then waves a hand, stating:

"Not us. Him. Assuming he actually bothers."

>Confused for a moment, Sentinel then leans his head back slightly in recognition:

"Oh, of course. The sorcerer."

>The MRD agents continue to fight the new supernatural monsters that appear in the city. Variations of the golems start manifesting from the large sea of glowing energy. Crystalline monsters are the prevalent manifestation - demonstrating behavioral properties similar to the rock golems.

>As MRD troopers continue fighting the monsters with a combination of powered rifles and their own Meta-Human abilities, the sheer number of crystaline monsters and rock golems begins to increase exponentially. Soon, the entire city is rapidly populated with the supernatural monsters, beginning to attack various parts of the mega structure.

>Sentinel, the MRD officer, then rushes past Arcturus to his troops, beginning to help coordinate their battle tactics as he takes the front line approach.

"Phalanx formation! Bring their attention to you, and away from civilians! Platoon 5! Center around me, now!"

>As the platoon begins to move as ordered, the area before them is immediately hit with a burst of bright red light. The light appears as an omni-directional wave of supernatural force, washing over everything in the area, from a single point of impact in front of Sentinel where he stands.

"What-"

>The blinding red light then waves over the golems, reconstructing them into minerals like silicon - as it spreads out at a similar exponential rate. As the red light expands over the city - rapidly performing the same conversion process on golems across the mega structure, a similar golden light follows.

>The golden light, by comparison, rushes over the glowing energy mass in the city, quickly dissolving it and converting it into particles of bright light - which rise into the air and fade away.

>Then, the fissure above begins to slowly buckle under a seemingly invisible pressure - rapidly and quickly contracting in size, as the seams of reality appear to sow themselves closed again - ever so elegantly.

"Sorry about that. I meant to get ahead of this sooner, but circumstances naturally arose beforehand."

>A bright red light then appears next to Sentinel, with large arcane runes and symbols appearing in the energy burst.

>The red light dies down, as a figure in an ornate magical costume appears. The newly arrived figure appears to be wearing a neatly fitting black suit, complete with golden form-fitting gloves and a black cloak with red inner lining. Their black hair is neatly aligned with white streaks. Their eyes are concealed behind impossibly dark sunglasses, and the lower half of their face is further obscured by the design of their cloak.

"I detected the distortion a few minutes earlier, but I was busy with a more pressing matter."

>Sentinel stares in disbelief at the magical figure standing before him, shaking his head before saying:

"You damn magicians and your pompousness. I swear, if you weren't the only guy who could fix these messes…"

>Turning his head slightly towards Sentinel, the figure then says:

"I'm aware, Commander Sentinel. But as I said, I was preoccupied unfortunately."

>Looking back at the silicone and sand now littering the area, he then elaborates:

"It took me twenty seconds to ascertain the nature of this dimensional incursion, and another ten seconds to prepare the necessary countermeasures."

>Flicking a finger upward towards the closing rift, Magister then states:

"I'll need a few more moments to finish up the mending incantation. If you'll excuse me then, Commander…."

>Getting the message, Sentinel then makes a gesture with his hands.

"Ladies and gents, let's get back to the hovercrafts and start secondary sweeps. See if ol' Houdini here missed anything. Let's go!"

>Motioning to his troopers, they all begin rushing back towards their hovercraft vehicles and start flying away, leaving Sentinel to look at the sorcerer figure.

"Well, thanks again Magister. We'd be in deep shit without you, but I'd imagine that was obvious."

>Nodding at Sentinel as he leaves, Magister watches for a moment as he then rushes to his own hovercraft vehicle, before turning his attention back towards the dimensional fracture in space-time again.

>Focusing his attention back on the fissure, which continues to rapidly close itself as it remains hovering in the skies above Sanctuary City, he makes a series of careful hand gestures with his gloved hands. Not taking his attention away from the fissure, he then raises a hand upward - causing a massive surge of bright and colorful lights to appear from directly in front of him, seemingly out of nowhere.

>The bright color distortion then appears as a series of large fractal lights which generate a vacuum effect around the fissure - now serving as suctioning and absorbing the rest of the fracture - returning the space around it to nothing but clear blue skies once again.

>With the last of the distortion effects accounted for, Magister lowers his hand back behind his cloak as the lights in the skies slowly subside and fade away. Now raising an eyebrow as he becomes aware of Arcturus standing behind him, he then says:

"Jonah? What is it?"

>Arcturus crosses his arms in slight annoyance, stating:

"I had to come all this way, just in case you didn't get here, Aiden. You need to be more on point with this. If there's a supernatural effect coming, I don't know if I can stop it-"

"It wasn't a direct effect. More of a secondary and unintended byproduct."

>Arcturus is confused for a moment.

"…What? That seemed more reasonable than that. Sure, it was supernatural in nature but it didn't seem too overwhelmingly-"

>Magister cuts him off, his hands still behind his cloak as he speaks.

"The distortion phenomena you observed was the result of a higher dimensional bleed and superpositioning effect. It was a form of dimensional contiguity, so to speak."

>Raising an eyebrow, Arcturus says:

"….You mean our dimension was scraping the edges of another dimension, and something got through?"

>Nodding slightly, Magister continues:

"In a manner of speaking, yes. Residual permeations of astral energy from a coagulation situation. Different dimensions have different amounts of astral energy. When enough of it condenses in a cosmological event, sentience is generated - usually enough to cause a dimensional rupture - as we've seen."

>Arcturus looks surprised, in a rare moment of shock on his part.

"…The dimension's alive, because it's absorbed enough astral energy?"

>Magister nods again:

"Unfortunately for our current circumstances, yes. Which is why I have to resolve it. Likely took a few billion years, but now it's actualized itself enough to become aware of its own existence - and now it's trying to perform a breach to gather more sustenance for itself as well."

>Looking back at Arcturus, Magister then also states:

"….I'm sorry for being away so frequently, Jonah. It's been a surprising few weeks. Cross dimensional activity is picking up, and I'm starting to see an increase in the frequency of extra-dimensional attacks."

>Now placing a hand on his hip, Arcturus makes a gesture to Magister, saying:

"Isn't there someone you've got to say that to, instead of me?"

>Blinking behind his sunglasses, Magister sighs as he responds by saying:

"Yes, of course. Where are my priorities? Thanks again for your understanding, Jonah. I've been busy, like I've said."

>Magister then disappears in the blink of an eye, quicker than any normal human could register - as Arcturus is left standing in the middle of the bridge structure, surrounded by newly transmuted silicon material.

>Time: N/A

>Yet another expansion of non-conventional space bends itself, surrounding the boundaries of another infinite expanse of reality. Yet another world, different from both the known Earth-0, and its counterpart in Earth-1, reveals itself to the sentient dimension. As its hunger for sustenance grows, it continues to expand itself - attempting to breach another world instead….

>Date: March 3rd, 2017

>Location: Earth-4 - New York City
>Time: 12:00 PM

>A more retroactively modern looking world describes Earth-4. Somewhat anachronistic in the sense that Meta-Humans arrived much later than in both Earth-0 and Earth-1, appearing around the turn of the millennia. As the effects of Meta-Humans on society is much less pronounced and far more formative, less technological improvements have been made in the same span of time. While less technologically advanced than both Earth-0 and Earth-1, the separate Earth-4 still remains ahead of conventional expectations, ever so slightly.

>In the central hub of business in the United States - New York City, the Collective continues their unmitigated assault on the central base of power for the relatively new Meta-Human Response Division, or MRD. As a much more formative and inexperienced organization compared to its universal peers, the MRD of Earth-4 are a much more paramilitary and guerilla oriented force, retrofitting somewhat advanced technology to traditional police conduct and matters, in an attempt to handle the forces of Meta-Humans attempting to take over the world.

>The Collective, a group of Meta-Human radicalists bent on world domination, maintain their aforementioned assault on New York City, starting in Times Square. However, they are met by yet another variation of a certain man, this time seemingly the core of the world's technologically advanced future…..

—————————————————————–

>The Meta-Human known as Gyromancer is a relatively powerful member of the Collective. A Meta-Human capable of mentally-induced control of gravitational effects. As Gyromancer continues his unmitigated attack on Times Square, he laughs as he flicks his arms, sending cars spiraling towards the MRD officers in their prototype power armor.

"Look out! He's attacking again!"

"Shit!"

>MRD officers in their clunky and prototypical power armor then quickly leap to the floor, landing barely inches away from the large 2-ton heaps of metal being launched at them. As they stand up, they switch their handguns to neural disruption mode and look at each other nervously."

"We're gonna need backup! He's going to get to the city council building at this rate!"

>As another set of cars is flung towards them, they brace themselves - as a bright plume of orange flame appears in the periphery of their vision. Moving their hands away from their helmets in shock, they look up and see the hovering form of a man in a bright ruby red and golden armor. Blue energy emanates from the soles of his armored boots as his sleek and slim form speaks from in front of them.

"Get to safety in the subway system. Already alerted reinforcements to your position. I'll deal with the Meta-Human."

>The burning metallic chassis of the cars is littered around the armored figure, as one of the officers speaks.

"Animus! Well shit. I guess I'll take a vigilante over a literal maniac at this point!"

>The gravity bending Meta-Human narrows his glowing blue eyes for a moment, fixating on the armored figure hovering a few meters before him. He then laughs heartily before he states:

"Ahh, the tin man is here! You've become awfully famous, automaton! Whether man or machine, you'll be crushed all the same, like the others were."

>Holding a hand out, Graviton makes a crushing motion with his hand - generating a significant amount of gravitational force around Animus. As the force condenses around the armored figure, it begins to simulate heavy distortion effects - pressurizing his suit while also rapidly dragging massive objects towards him, like more cars. As the objects smash into Animus and apparently crush him under their combined weight, Gyromancer then looks down at the scared MRD agents with a grin on his face.

"You like the demonstration? Tell me where your platoon is hiding, if you don't want to be next."

>The gravitational sphere if metal is then repulsed outward by a massive binding flash of light - surprising Gyromancer.

"What-"

>As he's hit in the face with a flying car chassis, he instinctively creates a gravitational field around him, significantly hampering its relative impact force as he spirals to the ground.

"Son of a bitch!"

>Spinning towards the ground, he then quickly flips to his feet, using his powers to stabilize himself once again as he looks upward to see a glowing blue armor-thin forcefield around Animus's armored frame.

"The dossier did say you were the buffoon of the group. In a manner of speaking, of course."

>Animus then fires a blast of uniquely colored blue light - barely missing Gyromancer's left side of his body - but causing him to suddenly begin falling on his left for a few seconds.

"What the?!"

>Reorienting himself and focusing, he then stabilizes right before he hits the ground on his left side - stunned.

"How did he……"

>Shock turning to anger, he immediately looks back at Animus, who's now disappeared from view.

"Where did you go…."

>Gyromancer looks around carefully, his eyes squinting as he rapidly looks from side to side. Flicking his hands, he fires a bunch of small pebbles and particulates into the air around him to check for any effects.

>Nothing after a few seconds. Confused, he then turns towards the MRD agents, scowling in annoyance and frustration as they've already left - presumably fleeing towards the subway systems below.

"Cowards. I'll deal with them later-"

>Suddenly, Gyromancer is punched in the face by a cold, metallic fist - spiraling into the ground entirely this time. As he creates a miniature crater from the force of the impact, the breath is knocked out of his lungs for a moment as another forceful pressure is applied to his ribcage.

"I don't have time for your antics, so I'll only ask you this once, Gyromancer."

>Reappearing from an invisible state, Animus keeps the sole of his boot pressed on Gyromancer's chest - keeping him in place with its sheer mechanical strength.

"Where's your boss? Last I checked, Proximal's been underground for a few months, and I doubt he'd send a moron like you to enact his main plan. So where is he, and what's this decoy stunt supposed to be covering for?"

>Pressing down further on Gyromancer's chest with the force of his armored boot and its pneumatic and futuristic circuitry and motors - Animus watches as Gyromancer screams in pain, before saying:

"Ack! He's in the acqeducts and sewer system of the city! I swear! He told me he'd give me a promotion if I held the MRD off long enough to start his plan! But I don't know what his plan is! I swear to God! I don't know man! I don't know!"

>Thinking for a moment, Animus then leans down to Gyromancer and stares at his eyes with glowing metallic slits.

"Thank you for your cooperation, Gyromancer."

>Animus then palm strikes Gyromancer with a controlled burst of quick, mechanical strength from his palm - knocking him out cold. After then standing up, he says to himself:

"Now to catch your boss and stop the Collective's attack once and for all-"

>Looking up at the sky, Animus's onboard A.I. begins to give him a warning signal.

"…Distortionary space-time effects? Here? Now? That shouldn't be possible."

>Immediately looking upward, Animus can see a distortion effect appearing. As large fractures start ripping open in the fabric of space-time, bright supernatural energy begins leaking through at a rapid pace - flooding down towards the streets below and rapidly converging on Animus's location.

>The energy continues to converge on Animus's location faster and faster. Just as it's about to reach him, it suddenly stops. Appearing like a liquid hitting glass, the energy is held above Animus's head, unable to reach him or the ground.

"I just got back home after running some errands only to find you standing under a spatial fracture."

>Walking out from behind Animus, he's passed by a tall woman wearing relatively decorated robes with long, hip length blue hair that shimmers and glows softly. The woman turns to look at Animus, revealing herself as this world's version of Stephanie.

"I see you stopped Gyromancer. That's good. He's been a nuisance for a while now."

>Crepido reaches towards the sky, twisting her wrist in a cranking motion. As she does so, the glowing energy begins to twist and fly upwards - returning to where it came from. As this happens the distortion begins to shimmer and shake, slowly reversing it's effect.

>After a few more moments of this the distortion is gone, with the fracture in the sky repaired.

>Blinking, Animus crosses his arms as he sighs externally. His armor's voice distortion catching the noise and distorting it as well.

"….I'm about to deal with the Collective, Stephanie. Good to see you're back actually protecting the planet."

>Looking at the ground where Gyromancer is knocked unconscious once more, he then looks back at Stephanie and then says:

"I'll talk to you later."

>Animus's palms then generate a bright blue light, along with the soles of his boots, as he blasts up into the air. Now rocketing upwards and lying through the air, Animus disappears in a flash of blue light and energy.

>After a few moments, a disembodied voice then says:

"He's holding up very well."

>The fabric of space-time distorts in a different way behind the sorceress, as Magister walks through, hands still beneath his cloak.

"Hello Crepido. It's been a while."

>Magister says, trying not to look at her directly as he looks up at nearby buildings.

"…I've been dealing with the same incursion attempts in my universe. Another dimension's developed sentience from the Astral Plane and its energy diffusion. I think I know where it's going to try to breach next. Just came here to give you preemptive notice."

>Magister continues standing in place, as the wind blows past his cloak, causing it to flutter lightly in the air, moving in the same direction as his hair.

"Secondly, yes. It's going to try a universe without a Sorcerer Supreme currently, but a universe that isn't nearly as contiguous to a universe that currently has one either. Which leaves a few options."

>Deterred from the sustenance of their hunger once more, the primordial void of energy then rumbles with aggravated intent, shifting its impossible large mass and vast expanse of space - creating a final structural push towards the closest world it remains adjacent to.

>Date: March 3rd, 2017

>Location: Earth-10 - Kingdom of Aetherna
>Time: 2:00 PM

>The universe of Earth-10 is very different from all of its contemporaries. Unlike its peer universes, the entire planet is one large separation of nations and kingdoms. As the world is bristling with mana and magical energies, it is subject to a greater degree of fantastical and magical situations and phenomena.

>Of all the various nations and kingdoms in the world, the kingdom of Aetherna remains the dominant force in the world. As the kingdom in ownership of the fabled Crystal - an artifact of immense magical power, it stands as the centerpiece of magical energy and power for the planet. As such, the kingdom is perpetually under siege from its rival nations and fellow kingdoms, in the hopes of gaining that mythical power for themselves.

>At the onset of the present day, the King of Aetherna, succeeding his parents, is yet another incarnation of a familiar figure. As he looks forward over the status of his kingdom, he must prepare himself for the arrival of 12 supernatural monsters, the Zodiarks. Each harboring a connecting to his family's past.

>However on this day, the Kingdom of Umbrae is attempting their latest incursion on the capital city of Aetherna - making a direct move towards the capital city.

>Waves of biomechanically augmented troops, each wearing a sophisticated magitek armor, rush down the openings of the magical barriers of the kingdom, attempting to breach the capital castle.

"Move! We've got an opening! Toward the crystal!"

"Quickly! Breach the interior of the castle!"

>As the waves of magitek troopers rush towards the castle, they're suddenly knocked backwards by an immense amount of force. As dozens of the magitek troopers are sent spiraling backwards into walls and structures, a cloaked figure in a helmet and elaborate costume hovers down from the sky - landing on the steps of the castle's entrance.

"Turn and leave my abode, Umbrans. I will not repeat myself a second time."

>A few of the magitek troopers stumble to their feet, recognizing the figure before them. As their eyes widen behind their helmets, they curse to themselves.

"….Empyrean."

"The king himself."

"King Grayson. This isn't good."

"What do we do?!"

>The magitek troopers look at each other for a moment, hesitant for a moment before one of them says:

"….No choice. We keep pushing forward."

>Nodding at each other, the first wave of magitek troopers begin rushing towards Empyrean, despite his warning. As they do so, they begin blasting at the cloaked king with energy beams from their hands and helmets - attempting to vault over various overturned cars and structures. As they flip and attempt to close the distance - they are immediately knocked back by the same invisible force.

"Telekinesis. Was this one of his powers?!"

>Another wave of magitek troopers begin rushing towards Empyrean, attempting to close the distance once more - as they're knocked back again. The same force of strength deflects the energy blasts of the magitek troopers, as he begins moving forward.

"I suppose I will have to return you to your kings - and set an example."

>As the first group of magitek troopers is entirely immobilized, Empyrean raises a hand from his cloak and gathers them up with his telekinetic force - gesturing as he remotely carries them far away - towards the edge of the walls into the capital city - miles away.

>At the same time, more of the magitek troopers file into the city streets towards the castle's steps - stunned by the display of power appearing before them.

"…….."

"………Shit."

"On no…."

>All of them then look back at Empyrean, who then raises his helmet, slightly at their direction.

"If this display will not suffice, then you be confronted by my personal knight. I suggest retreating, as I have told the first contingent of your troops."

>Empyrean then makes a gesture with his hand, seemingly accessing a different supernatural power to signal for his knight.

>A cloud of dust kicks into the air, as figure suddenly slams into the ground, rumbling and shaking it. In an instant the cloud of dust shoots outwards, being cleared by an invisible force as a tall woman wearing what seems to be a casual set of contemporary clothing rises to her feet.

>This world's version of Stephanie, appearing identical to her counterparts with the distinct difference of having green hair.

>She speaks with a relatively subdued, monotonous voice.

"Hey. Didn't you hear the king? No tresspassers."

>She stares at them for a few moments, watching their reactions. Noticing that they haven't started to retreat yet, she lets out a sigh.

"Alright then. Guess I'm escorting you out."

>A fist suddenly slams into her side, causing the attacker to yell out in pain while her body doesn't react to the impact.

"No? Okay. You were given several warnings."

>She immediately vanishes, as a wind tunnel begins generating around the troops. Slowly their bodies begin to leave the ground, only for them to be launched high into the air.

>Appearing in front of them once more in the air, red electricity crackles and pops as it arcs around her arms. She points her palm towards them and then braces herself as a massive glowing stream of red energy rockets forward - slamming into the troops and sending them flying miles and miles away.

>Finished, she vanishes again, leaving behind a briefly appearing red streak of energy in her place. Re-appearing next to Empyrean, she stands with her hands in her jacket's pockets.

"If you're going to drag me away from my canvas, I would hope it'd be for something at least a little interesting."

>Now speaking with a slightly more emotive voice, she looks at the king and sarcastically asks:

"Oh, sorry. Should I have bowed and thanked you for this opportunity to defend my kingdom, your majesty?"

>Looking out across the streets of the capital city, Empyrean has his hands beneath his cloak once more as he states:

"I have no opinion on your approach, Stephanie. You performed your duty, as I have done mine. That is all the Crystal asks of us."

>Empyrean then turns around to walk back up towards the edge of the castle steps, until he stops in place. His mind begins to race as his core abilities begin to warn him of an impending force. Immediately turning around, he then shouts:

"Stephanie! Move!"

>At that moment, a large fissure appears in the sky, similar to those of the prior universes. The same glowing substance begins pouring through the fissures, with even more volume than before. In addition, the fissure itself begins to expand rapidly - forcibly overlaying itself over parts of Aetherna - turning it from a luscious and verdant green paradise - to a rocky and alien world with pink skies and bright lights.

>An even larger number of the crystalline golems and rock golems appear - performing the same behaviors as before. The golems immediately begin attempting to destroy various portions of the city, buildings, cars and structural monuments are all in the way.

>Back at the castle steps and the entrance to Castle Aetherna - a particularly large rock golem appears, landing down from the fissures of the skies above, and in front of Empyrean and Stephanie.

"Stephanie! The city!"

>Holding out a hand, Empyrean generates a glowing energy barrier of light around himself and Stephanie, as the rock golem's large fist collides with it. As it continues attempting to breach the forcefield, he then states:

"Do not concern yourself with me! The city and the Crystal are far more important! Whatever these beings are, I suspect they are here for it!"

>Empyrean continues to maintain the forcefield, doing his best to hold against the force of the Golems strikes.

"….Obstinate creature!"

>Making another quick gesture with his hand, Empyrean generates a massive amount of telekinetic force, which ruptures the rock golem so powerfully, shatters the golem into dust.

>This continues for several moments, with her slowly increasing in speed with the destruction of every Golem. Finally, she races into the air and just below the figure.

>Floating just below it, she looks at it and says:

"I may not be the Crystal's choice, but I can still work some magic."

>She immediately holds her hands forward - concentrating on the fracture. The light around the fracture ripples and bends, with particles of mana appearing in and around it.

>Stephanie continues to focus, struggling and failing to close the fracture.

>A large collection of glowing red energy appears in the middle of the sky, generating a massive sphere that begins expanding outwards rapidly. Much like before on Earth-1, the sphere begins a transmutation effect - converting all of the rapidly expanding golem populations into flowers. As this happens, the figure of Magister appears in the air, hovering in place. He then notices the woman struggling to close the fissure, and recognizes her appearance almost immediately as well.

>Looking directly at the fissure a few meters before him, he thinks for a moment as he then appears to be alerted to a familiar presence below.

"….Ahh, of course. Well this will be problematic."

>Looking down, Magister watches as the form of Empyrean rapidly rises up to the air - hovering under mystical power. Staring at Magister, Empyrean then says:

"You, interloper. What business do you have in-"

"I don't have time for this, Aiden."

>Stunned, Empyrean floats backwards slightly, stunned at the statement.

"…Who are you-"

"I'm you, and as I said, I don't have time for this."

>Empyrean then holds out his hand, stating:

"I can't believe that. The idea of alternate worlds and realities is preposterous! What you speak of goes against the tenets of the almighty Crystal!"

>Magister raises an eyebrow.

"Is that so? Well then."

>Turning around, Magister senses the familiar presence of a Sanctum Crystal, situated inside of the castle behind him.

{"This must be the world's crystal. No wonder nobody's here to clean this mess. It doesn't have a Sorcerer Supreme, not yet at least."}

>Looking back at Empyrean, he then states:

"So your Gnosis Imprimatur comes from the Crystal? Good to know."

>Still reeling from the revelations, Empyrean holds up a hand again, stating:

"No….No! This cannot be more than a trick! A deception of the mind from the fissure before me! You must be an apparition!"

>Magister then makes a slight gesture with his finger, displacing Empyrean back to the ground below - stunning him for a moment.

>Empyrean then looks back up at Magister, and says:

"I cannot allow you, or anyone else to harm the Crystal! Whatever your motive, I must expel you from my kingdom!"

>Ignoring him, Magister looks towards Stephanie, seeing her struggling against the fissure, and says to her:

"Yes, Stephanie, it's me. I'm from a different universe."

>Putting his sunglasses back on, and bringing back up his cloak to the lower half of his face, he hen turns his attention toward the fissure. Making a gesture with his hand, he generates another multi-color energy distortion effect, a magically induced counterbalance - which begins rapidly stitching and sowing up the fissure - closing it in a few seconds, without effort.

>Lowering his hand, he then looks at Stephanie, then pushes a thought mentally into her head.

{"….I'll talk to you later tonight. Once my ignorant counterpart in this universe has left for his expedition. But I can only make it brief to explain."}

>Out loud, he then says:

"The fissure is stopped here in your universe for now. But I'll have to deal with the dimension itself more directly."

>The Sanctum of Earth-1 is that universe's version of the Axiom - a secondary creation and duplicate of the original Axiom dimension, powered and sustained by its own Crystal. As one of the subsidiary manifestations of the Prime Crystal's power - it is capable of generating an infinitely vast expanse of space and time, beyond the conventional fabric of reality.

>Moving arcane looking futuristic dials and switches with his gloved hands, Magister continues utilizing the large spectral prism monitors of the Observation Deck to peer through multi-dimensional space. Attempting to pinpoint the exact relative location of the dimension causing the current situation, he then furrows his brow.

>Location: Sanctum - Diffusion Room

>A few minutes later, Magister stands with Crepido in a different room, full of magical energy and mana - concentrated into various condensed regions.

>They're standing in the Diffusion Room of the Sanctum, a chamber specifically designed to allow minimal interaction with separate dimensions - and to eject portions of the Sanctum away from the larger dimensional mass.

>With the Tome of Thoth in his hand, Magister continues flipping through the pages, preparing a veritable tsunami of various spells and incantations for the coming magical display.

>Magister continues readying the portal with a series of gestures and whisper quiet incantations - as orange sparks fly from his fingers. The mana continues to build up in the room as he says to Crepido:

"Do you have the dimensional anchoring spell ready? I can only open the portal for a brief moment for you to place it in there. Make it powerful enough to implode the rogue dimension with nearby graveyard dimensions."

>Continuing the magical gestures with his free hand, Magister then says:

"I've towed a few of the graveyard dimensions with the Sanctum to prepare for this. They should be enough to collapse the dimension in on itself and distribute their astral energy back into the Astral Plane - destroying its consciousness as a result."

>Magister then uses his free hand to make a quick gesture, revealing displays on the walls of the room. The displays showcase a series of muted, gray and monochromatic dimensions, each barren and empty and devoid of all of their magical energy and mana. These are clearly the graveyard dimensions that Magister is referring to - worlds completely and entirely sapped of their psionic and magical energy.

>Location: N/A

>A stet of glowing chains appear in the vast expanse of the rogue dimension, clanking onto the ground at the bottom of a basin. The vast expanse of the dimension is lit against the backdrop of a bright pink light - from an esoteric star in the skies.

>A faint vibration then emanates from the ground, as the dimension itself seemingly becomes aware of the chains. As the chains pulsate, they emanate ripples of magical energy and force - beginning to rip open holes in the fabric of reality itself. Soon, entire portions of the sky rip apart, revealing the black and white monochrome forms of the graveyard worlds.

>The graveyard worlds, all situated parallel to the rogue dimension, and out of phase with it prior - are now forcefully colliding into the dimension with immense force. Their expansion trajectories serving as force multipliers - as they begin ripping the rogue dimension apart - dispersing its accumulated astral energy apart at an exponential rate.

>After a few minutes, the entire dimension is destroyed, reduced to a pile of monochromatic rubble - much like the graveyard worlds beside it. Said graveyard worlds also seemingly begin to phase back out of the now deceased dimension's plane of existence.

Location: Sanctum - Observation Deck

>Back in the Observation Deck of the Sanctum in Earth-1, Magister looks at the prism display in real time. The large, structural artifact, demonstrates a complex multi-dimensional representation of the space between dimensions and universes - giving Magister a means of dimensional observation.

"It should be working now."

>Making a few more precise modifications with his gloved fingers, Magister then flips a few more dials and turns a few more switches, before pulling back his view to see the glowing pink 3D space in the display. He then watches the pink display get crushed by various grey 3D models in the same observational picture.

"There. It's done."

"Good."

>Crepido turns to look at Magister, and says:

"So what now, Mr. Busy Man?"

>Magister crosses his arms and then looks around the Observation Deck for a moment. He then says:

"Well, my schedule just cleared, so I'm actually free now for once."

>Turning his attention towards Crepido now, Magister looks at her from behind his sunglasses, and then states:

"Is there anything specific you had in mind? I'm open to suggestions."

>Magister waits for her response.

"Oh, I have several things in mind."

>Crepido punches Magister on the shoulder again, before grabbing his arm and pulling him closer.

"You're still not off the hook. But I'm glad you're back."

>Looking somewhat embarrassed, Magister then laughs nervously, before saying:

"If that's a sign that we're good, then I'll take it."

>Just remembering a thought that came to him, he then states:

"Oh by the way, we might have to go to the bazaar again later. Nothing huge, but I've head that there's some kind of mage collaboration going on there. Lots of strange occurrences, so we might need to deal with that too."

>Magister then walks with Crepido out of the Observation Deck, and towards the Sanctum interior as well.
